Greetings surfer(s) !!
To avoid you a waste of your precious time, let me explain the purpose of this blog.. Or at least what is the initial content.. For total strangers to know more about Taiwan, for my friends to share something I couldnt share with them at the time being, and for me .. yes a few things for me
vietaiwan, what is it ? well you couldnt find that on wikipedia, but what only the french could have guessed it should be spelled: V.I.E Taiwan
V.I.E is a program for french citizens, which gives them the opportunity to work abroad for a french company.. pretty simple right ? now you can find one there: www.civi-web.org or its not working : http://www.ubifrance.fr/vie/volontariat-international-entreprise.asp?Reload=503
wow they became very professional in the last 3 years.. thats good news, easier to find a job :) (without getting a CPE, but thats another story)
so why did I decide to write down a few words? several things come to my mind, I want to let people know more about taiwan, the country but also the people.. Also I feel, that If I dont write down about this part of my life, maybe I would forget about it..
ok, this has gone serious enough, now about my mood tonight. Several weeks ago, japanese journalists with a Ubifrance representative came to my company to interview with our dear CEO.. it was well of course about the V.I.E. program (for ubifrance) and a chance for my company to get free ads..
As the first V.I.E. for this company, I had expected to take part into something (previously, I was invited but it was postponed, the CEO had to announce the "social plan", about 40% of the employee were to leave.. I would also leave even without being part of the plan)...
Well no, I was not and today, they displayed the japanese article, with his picture, looking all proud.. just next to the coffe machine.. so thats why I decided to write down a few lines. I'll try to get that picture scanned on this site, maybe some people know what I am talking about.
well repeat after me :
"Hajime Mashite, watashi no namae wa Romain dess, dozo yoroshikou"
this the japanese way of introducing your to the journalist you were not introduced too..
